Three shoeings post surgery

Below are pictures taken six weeks apart showing Apache's progress post shoeing. He's doing really well.

Now the foot has got to this stage it doesn't need regular dressings so I Cast the foot and packed it with a medicated hoof packing.

Just wanted to say how amazing Beckie has been with Apache. Since the day we had the mri result we were quite shocked and upset not really expecting the diagnosis.Beckie phoned that evening and explained a bit more detail. 2 days after the op she met me at 6.30am at the vets on a Sat her day off to put his first shoes on. In 10 weeks he's improved so much and this last shoeing far outweighing our expectations. The hoof has grown so much thanks to the care and recommended supplements and of course the sunflower seeds!!! Thanks so much Beckie alongside vet Suzanne Duncan from Arundel Equine vets you are both brilliant. Char & Hannah.
