Negative pedal bone

We had suspected this horse had negative sole planes, but these x-rays shocked us at just how bad. The pedal bone enclosed within the hoof capsule should not tilt back leaving the lower solar surface at a negative angle. In an ideal world we'd be hoping for about a 4-5 degree positive angle.

Well done Rupert

Well done to Rupert owned by Virginia Russell-Wood ridden by Clare. They did so well in one of their first ridden classes at Windsor. I've been tending to Ruperts feet since birth. Nice to see the horse he's grown in to.
