Tread injury in June
For those of you that view the site regularly you might be able to remember back in June I shared with you a tread injury that I saw on Cleo's foot. I shod him today, 5 months on and wanted to show you how it was growing out. The new wall growing down has no lasting damage, so once it's finished growing out, we will be able to forget it ever happened.
A Stack of Foot
This is to make all thoroughbred owners jealous who's horses don't grow any foot. All off this foot was trimmed off a little Shetland. Click on one of the images to see more.
Overgrown Feet!
I have just added another case study to the overgrown feet section. This was a little Shetland that hadn't had his feet trimmed for quite some time. His toes had even started to curl up. Click on the picture below to see some more pictures.
Another new Farriery Prospect
This is Edward Blount taking the shoes off his lovely pony Blonde. He managed to take off one front and one hind, and even started re-shaping the new shoes for me. You did a great job Edward even if I did laugh at you just a little bit!
