Miss Match Feet

Check out this Pair of front feet. The worse thing you could do in this situation is try and make them a pair. They should be treated and shod for their own individual needs.

Lamanitic Shetland Trim

Here are a few pictures of the same foot the Near fore, before and after trimming. This little Shetland had excessive foot growth due to Laminitis. Click on the images to see examples of the near hind too.

Las Vegas

In the middle of December I went across to Las Vegas to the National Rodeo Finals to Represent another Farrier company at a huge Trade Show. The Equine Lameness Prevention is a non-profit company that I work with and I went out to Vegas to help spread the word and tell people what we're all about.

It was a great experience, it took a while till I started understanding some of the strong Cowboy accents, but I think they equally were struggling with mine!

I'm going to be doing a lot more travelling with work, and my next trip is to the International Hoof Care Summit in Cincinnati early February.
