Seedy Toe or White Line Disease is a condition where the sensitive and insensitive laminae separate at the white line allowing a cavity to form. This cavity is filled with weak crumbly horn. The separation is widest at the ground surface narrowing towards the coronary band. It's most commonly found at the toe but can occur anywhere around the white line. It doesn't usually cause lameness unless dirt gets in and causes a secondary infection.
