Beckie Mabbutt

This isn't a horse I shoe but I was asked to come and look at him as he had been intermittently lame for 3 weeks. He was sound on the hard but slightly lame on the soft. I hoof tested his whole foot and found a sore point on his frog but there still wasn't anything to see. On further investigation I felt a little bit of metal hit against my knife. I found this splint of wire stuck in his frog. After removing it he was sound.
