Looking at the coronary band angle gives an idea as to what angle the pedal bone is on the hind feet.

Negative Angle
Following this line forward the coronary band angle contacts well above the knee indicating that the pedal bone sits at a negative angle within the hoof capsule.

After Trimming
After trimming look at the difference made to the angle of the foot. It would have been great to have got radiographs of this one.
