Pre-trim
This is Sasha's left front this is her worst front foot. She is lame when turning to the left. All of the following pictures are of the same foot.

Solar view
This is a solar view. Her saving grace is that she has a good depth of sole under the tip of the pedal bone. This is found about an inch in front of the apex of the frog. I am going to leave all the sole in this area and de-rotate the foot with trimming so when the shoe and pad are fitted there is no pressure in this sore area.

Post-shoeing
This is the left front with the shoe and pad fitted. I have formed a larger load platform in the back of the foot where it is not painful with impression material and the use of a pad.

Shoeing System
This is an EDSS kit (Equine Digital Support System) it is an adjustable system with lots of components. It enables you to screw on different heights of frog supports and different height rails to raise the heels up. It enables you to keep changing the components according to the needs of the horse after the shoeing process. The pad is also screwed to the shoe sucking the pad up towards the shoe relieving pressure around the tip of the pedal bone.

Palmar View
From this view you can see the height of the frog insert matches the height of the rails. I have also rasped the outer edges of the rails off to make it easier for Sasha to turn.
