From this radiograph you can see how the pedal bone appears to have rotated to quite a degree. It is not in alignment with the long and short pastern bones. On the front of the hoof wall some radio opaque paste is used to show the full distortion. Due to the quantity of foot there is to trim off this can be close to corrected with the first trim. There is a huge amount of heel to trim off and just look at the front wall!
