The Crack Patch has been shaped to mold around the hoof wall. The surface has been roughened with a file to give the adhesive more to grip too, and de-greaser has also been applied to the patch. The patch is then glued and screwed on with about 20 screws. The idea being to immobilise the crack and stop the painful pinching problem.
