This is a horse called Lady owned by Valerie White. Lady was lame about 2 years ago so she went to the vets for radiographs and MRI scans. She had changes in her Navicular bone and also had lesions in her Deep Digital Flexor Tendon that runs over the Navicular bone. I shod her with hard wedged pads to eliminate any pressure in this sore area. Even having bedding building up in the feet can be sore for them with this condition. From this picture you can see some bruising on the sole this is directly underneath where the trauma is within the hoof capsule.
